Winnie the Pooh and Me Thinking of You

I wish I could receive hugs from Winnie the Pooh,

Walk with him,

Ask, "How do you do?"

I wish I could bounce with Tigger to the moon,

Orbit the Earth,

Be able to say, "I'll see you soon." I wish I could talk to Owl,

Talk and share our opinions,

Write poetry that our hearts longs to howl.

I wish I could pick flowers with Piglet,

Hold the flowers close to my face,

Be able to lie in the flowers and say, "Sit."

I wish I could build a fort with Eeyore,

Sleep all day,

Dream and snore.

I wish I could drink tea with Rabbit,

Have a polite conversation,

Talk about each other's habits.

I wish, like Christopher Robin, I had a kid's imagination,

Run away carefree without anything to worry about,

With the unknown world as my heart's sensation.

I wish all day I could be around Roo,

Joke and run around laughing,

Saying it was fun too.

I may have fun in the Hundred Acre Wood with Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Eeyore, Tigger, and Roo too

but all the while, even though I may have fun with them,

I wish it could have been you.
