Wing Borne Warrior

He strode through this world,

Engaging in warfare among the clouds.

His fighting done on the wings of dragons,

His youth forfeit to the cause.

From the Great War he flew,

Striking enemies from the skies.

His mount spewing molten death,

The foes burned to ash.

He fought in many battles,

Honor wrought for himself and Kingdom.

As this valiant warrior leaves behind these wars,

His fighting not ending just yet.

Death stands at his doorstep,

The warrior fights onward.

Death’s grip not able to hold him,

But never relenting chase.

As our wing Borne Warrior nears his end,

His hold on life weakening.

Stand tall as he enters his tomb,

His courage and glory displayed.

Salute this fallen warrior,

His body laid to rest.

As he mounts his celestial dragon once more,

His War finally won.
