You pulled me back and forth,
Like an old wind up clock.
Treating me like my love was available at any time.
What was I to you I ask,
A toy for your enjoyment?
An achievement waiting to be claimed?
Or was I just a fun piece to play a game with?
Round and round my heart ran for you, but little did I know, you were hiding far above watching me scramble around for you.
You told me all the familiar lies and I still believed them, but to this day I guess I’ll never know.
What I was to you except for a girl whose heart you played with.
