I have no idea what your reaction to this will be

But I have to let these words out, I have to let them fly free

I can't deny how I feel,

All of this is just too real

When you look me in the eye

My heart beats faster and slower at the same time

All these thoughts and feels for you are racing through my mind

You make me feel like I can soar straight to the sky

Which makes it hard to put my feelings into rhyme

It's an uncontrollable flame that burns with desire

Not destructive as you would expect from such a blazing fire

But purifying, healing, making me stronger even when things seem dire

Your very touch sends sparks rippling across my skin

And I realize how lucky I've been

To have someone like you enter my life

Because you care enough to help fight through all sorts of strife
