Willing Prey

When Love Is Predatory

Do you remember

The moment you looked at me,

And I shivered with pleasure?

A petrified rabbit,

I stared up at you,

A grey wolf with excited eyes.

You gazed at my throat,

Ready to rip and tear my skin,

Desperate to drink

The hot, frothy blood within.

I acquiesced and asked you to take me,

Please, right now.

I trembled as you drew me in

And drank me up, with your love.

You didn’t stop,

Till your fur was matted,

Soaked with black-red blood.

You slowly drained the light from my eyes,

And afterwards you cried, and cried,

Because I was left dead

And you still had no life.
