I lay awake in the middle of night, thinking about this world and all its blight.

I wonder do flowers dream, do the clouds cry at night.

Do the stars reach out to one another in the sky?

Death, it such a surreal concept, knowing that one day all light will vanish.

Do you see what I see, will you dance in the shadows with me.

Do you look at the starlit sky and wish you could fly?

This world so cold and yet warm at the same time, how sublime.

When the world crumbles and your faith can fit in my palm what then.

Will your hope end, will your life turn to sin, and will you run from what your heart beckons.

Will you sit in a corner and cry?

I wonder do the blades of grass sleep, and do the weeping willows really weep.

Bloodshot scars so deep in one’s heart, inflamed by the evil of the dark.

Where were you when I called your name?

Life isn’t something you can buy.

Do you ever wonder what it's like, dying a silent death alone?

Don’t you wish you could just send a clone?

Will anyone notice when you disappear from this world?

Will your hopes come falling from the sky?

Do the planets sing, does the sun truly never really go down and just out of sight?

Will there ever be peace, will the race of man repeat?

Do the heavens curse our existence, has the world lost its way.

Will all that was and is beauty simply wither and decay.

Will you say anything than the words why?

Light and dark swirled into chaos, must innocent life be the cost.

Blacked hearts of aster and shaded realms of sorrow hanging overhead.

The friends I have made and the people that I have helped, will they vanish.

Is there truly any meaning to the things we do in our lives?

Have I wasted my life in this world, have I lived a shallow bodiless life.

In only strife do I even apply?

Will you remember me when I die?

Will I die alone as I lived, will I die like that of a worthless bug.

Will I live on in the realm of the spirits, will my memory fade.

Will I live on in the background of the world?

Will I live in the hearts of my friends and family?

Truly I believe that my soul will fly but there's still one thing.
