Wildflowers

A Poem of Passion & Freedom

"Wildflowers" - Graphic Collage By M. Ali

Like tender bites of apple pie

Or berries soaked in gin

I taste the sweetness of your mouth

So pure like childish sin

I fall into a wave of heat

As colors flood the mind

Like red and gold and purple haze

With pleasure soft and kind

The heart seduced by promises

Of loyalty and trust

Fantasies of moonlit nights

And songs of secret lust

The rhythm soon intensifies

A touch becomes a dance

The moment when all time stands still

And hope becomes a chance

A fervid gaze into the soul

A candid point of view

An invitation, bold and brave

A welcomed deja vu

I take you in like oxygen

You truly feed my soul

You give me life. You give me breath

You make me full and whole

Yet never satisfy my thirst

I'm always needing more

Wanting, craving all of you

Longing to feel your core

To know how deep your love will go

Along with all the pain

The pressure, passion, pounding, pulse

Of blood that feeds the veins

We fly through clouds of ecstasy

Like abstract lucid dreams

Soaring through the astral planes

Supreme electric cream

Souls transfer becoming one

With frequencies of love

A fate, We fit a perfect match

A hand inside a glove

A boy a girl, woman, man

A basic natural thing

A simple love, complete and free

A song that angels sing

I peer into your crying eyes

Beyond this carnal form

We bond beyond imagination

In love we are reborn

A comprehension clear and clean

How could this not be real

This power, pleasure, perfect place

And everything I feel

A symphony of heart and soul

The sweetest melody

And if this love at all is crime

It must be felony

But if a love could ever be

As pure and free as ours

Then let it be, without restraint

And bloom the wildest flowers
