Why So Stressed?

Poem

these obligations and tasks, growing,

need to be organised, and controlling,

fool yourself, into the outcome, knowing,

but you can’t predict, way the wind's blowing,

breathe a moment, internally stationary

remain this irate, you’ll have a coronary,

heed my words, of a tale cautionary,

it’s just another day, mundane and ordinary,

so, it’s getting away from you,

does it change, the amount needed to do,

if you fail, will it be the end of you,

or appreciably alter anything true,

you still have, all the tool of survival,

won’t matter in the future, so be mindful,

life giving air, in your lungs, it’s yours rightful,

you turn at rock bottom, awaits your arrival,

know deep down there’ll be a brighter day,

perspective changes, learning to play,

there’s s only one constant, and that’s change

so dive right in, get lost to find your way,
