Who’ll stop the rain?
And pull me through the pain.
Who’ll stop the rain?
And keep me from going insane.
Who’ll stop the rain?
And take me just the same?
Who’ll stop the earth from shaking?
My heart is still breaking.
Who’ll stop the sky from falling?
My soul is still calling.
Who’ll stop the flow of blood?
As the droplets of rain form a flood.
Who’ll stop the sorrow?
And reveal the limitless tomorrow.
Who’ll stop the rain?
And stop those who treat life like a game.
Who’ll stop the crying?
Innocent people are dying.
Who’ll stop the rain?
And create a world in which we can proclaim.
Who’ll stop the shame?
And restore humanity's good name.
Who’ll stop the rain?
And remove sin persistent stain.
