Who Am I to Her?

A Friend, Nothing More

Who am I to her?

A friend, nothing more

Although, I do adore

Inspire her for sure

Her heart

she closed the Door

So she won't suffer, no more

She s so tired of the games

The lies, they're all the same

Of course...

What can I do

To better assist you?

Be someone who is worthy

Instead of another fool to you

You mentioned, "Just be you

and not somebody else.

There's too many duplicates

that are so afraid to be themselves."

"Believe when I say, you're a friend I surely trust.

The one i can depend on

When I feel like giving up."

"I'm here for you as well

I'm just surprised women don't like you.

You're a gentlemen times ten

Most of all, you listen."

"I don't need a man

with grands,

someone to share my time with

One that comforts me

On my darkest days in silence."

"Five years with this pendejo

and this is what I get?

I poured my heart for nothing

Without the balls to tell me something?"

"But it's cool, it's cool

It'll be me and my kids for now

Pack up everything we own

And take it to my mothers house."

"I'm thankful, for you my friend.

Women are dumb to pass you up

I'm a woman, I'll be honest

Yes, we are picky a.f."

"If I could do it over,

a chance with you I'd take it.

But, I'm thankful for my babies

Mis hijos, can't replace them."

"You're wise,

the last of your kind or generation.

But sadly, I'm turning down

The offer that you're making."
