Who Am I?

Not her.

Who am I

I am not her

The covergirl beauty queen

Shining brightly and so squeaky clean

I am not her

The Stripper in the highest heels

Sexy and radiating just how hot a woman should look

For everyone to see

I am not her

The adored country bumpkin

With a fake tan

That seems to be the “in” thing

Short shorts and a bra for a shirt

I am not her

The cutie bouncing her boobs around “nonchalantly”

Loved by everyone

Cause she knows how to move through a crowd

I am not her

The kinky friend of a friend

Flirting with you in front of me

Because you are friends

So it’s basically make believe

I am not her

I am yours

I’m the girl in the corner

Wearing a costume because I hoped you would notice

I am yours

The girl watching you join these crowds

Looking at them

But still I smile when you hold me every night

I am yours

The girl with your heart in my eyes

Hoping as I stand here

I’ll be attractive enough to one day be your wife

I am yours

The girl to keep your secrets

To hold you on a pedestal so high

I am that girl

Who loves you past the moon and the sky

That girl

Who knew when I met you

How amazing you truly are

This girl right here

Wants to feel like that girl for you

I am your girl

I just hope that’s good enough for you to love me too...
