Where Does the Time Go?

A parent's love for their child never dies. Same with God's love for his children.

I remember when you were young,

Your voice so soft and sweet when you sung.

Of course you and I got along

Amongst the crowds unruly throng.

I remember when you were just knee high

Asking questions about the sky.

Now you are so tall and bright

Studying away throughout the night.

I remember, when you used to play

Among the marigold's array.

I remember when you used to run

Run out in the sun, just for fun.

When you would tumble down the hill

You never tired of that thrill.

I remember when you would fall

I'd pick you up, you were so small!

I would wipe all of your tears away

Your smile was fresh, as a brand new day.

Though now you're older than you used to be

I love you still the same you see.

Remember in my heart you'll stay,

I love you in every single way!
