Despair, shaken to the core at the loss of myself.
Supportive looks from the surrounding people, not knowing how to help.
The world moves forward around me, time continuing its eternal march.
And yet I seem unmoving and broken, unable to play my part.
Like a mighty stream, flowing in the forest of a far off land.
My heartbreak seems to be bleeding me, itself weeping for my pain unplanned.
Darkness enveloping me, trapped in this eternal light.
Even the stars seem to be abandoning me, dismissing my only light.
Adrift in this void of sorrow, undoubting it is to be my new home.
Fearing I'm losing the will to fight, resigning myself to be alone.
