When We Were Young

Love You Always

dooms mistress
when we were young nothing could stop us just you and me against the world hands clasped tightly together eyes alight with the fires of passion that no man nor god could put out. you were mine forever and a day, a silly little girl with a head full of dreams I told you I would love you forever but do you really understand what that means?

It means I love you in the morning when you're all a mess, I will love you in the afternoon when your work day gets out of hand, I will love you at night when you lay your head on your pillow and drift off into your dreams. I will love you when you are old and gray I promised to love you forever and a day.

though the years have passed I am still captivated by you in the most innocent ways. a lifetime with you is what I would wish for in this life and in the next, you are my companion, my lover, and most of all you are my best friend I hope this happiness with you never ends.
