When Loving Becomes a Crime

A Poem About Sexuality and Love

Holding the sword is a good samaritan

He who preaches good practice

To his children, he teaches love

Yet to others love he never shows

At church to God, he prays that he may never judge

Yet he despises two in love

By names, he called them with rage in his heart

Creeping in like a snake, he never realised it

'God does not want Eve and Eve

To get together and get married because they can't conceive'

He spits the venom out of his mouth

An innocent heart, whose only crime was to love died

By her own hands because of the words of the man of God

The good samaritan kills

He has a sword under his tongue, but

He still thinks he is innocent

Those who were innocent died off his venom

He said they were breaking the norms

For loving a forbidden fruit

He blames the devil for their deaths, but

Holding a sword is a good samaritan
