When I Look at You

When I look at you, I think about all the times we were loving.

Your smile is adorable. Did I tell you that? When you sigh with that gentle smile, I can not help but smile back.

With your gestures and words that flow from your mouth, with your brown curly-like hair that bounces up when I touch it...

You really are amazing, love. You are quite the prize to which I never thought I would win.

When I look at you, your eyes are like a supernova but your lips are something else...

I remember that day.

Your lips were chapped, yet you were still and shy because it was your first. Yet I still continued to steal it and have you smitten.

Every now and then, I ask you from your point of view. Your point of view of our first kiss. You gladly agree to it and tell with the softest voice down to every detail to the thoughts you had that night.

And that night, you said, "I love you."

And even on that night, too, I said,

"I love you, too."

When I look at you, you're the one I want to marry.

Yet, we both have this fear of one day... we might leave each other for someone else.

This fear scares us but we have each other for reassurance.

Then again, your love is so pure and I wouldn't leave it because I found you.

As we first met, my heart stopped beating for a second and as I stared at you, we both said, "Hi," three times...

...because we were captivated by the mystery of each other.

This mystery led for us to learn more about one another to the point where we are together today.
