When I Close My Eyes…
I don't want to open them.
You’re hugging me tight…
Tears rolling down my cheeks…
You kiss my head and I look up at you…
You wipe my tears with one hand while the other’s wrapped around my waist…
You hold my head and I, place it on your chest…
Hugging you back, clenching your shirt and crying…
You take my face in your palms and look at me and ask, bie can we be the same….
And I say…
I thought you’d never ask….
We’ll never be different….
This is my oath, my promise, my vow.
We kiss. And weep.
And kiss. And smile.
If only I’d never open my eyes.

A Note as I Fly…
The 18th day of May, 2016. It’s a pleasant morning… I watched the sun rise through the window of the aircraft, alone. I’ve learnt one thing… not learnt, rediscovered… The only one that cares about you the most is your mother, be it biological or otherwise. (Obvious?) The one that knows what you want materialistically is... You! No one else. So instead of hoping for something that you want, ask or work for it… This is just the materialistic part that I’m talking about… The other wants will take a whole new dimension if I talk about it.

BARE HUNTER
CHAPTER 15 I pulled up in front of Sandy’s a little early, so I texted Becca again and left a message for Sharon, hoping she had a good day and I’d see her tomorrow. Two cars pulled into Sandy’s driveway. I don’t know why I was surprised to see another man with her. We’d been apart for two years and I certainly didn’t waste any time getting back on the horse.
