When life throws rocks at you

Then build a house.

When hurdles of all shapes prevent you

Then start an adventure.

When friends say ‘no’ and ‘you can’t do it’

Then show them who you really are.

When lights go out until all is dark

Then become one with your heart and mind.

When fatigue replaces hope and joy

Then prove your fighting spirit

When sleep overcomes you and your eyes shut

Turn lies into dreams and dreams into truth

And when all is said and done

Realise what we have already said
