What's It Like?
Inspired by the Film 'Call Me by Your Name'
What's it like to be wanted by that special person?
What's it like to find warmth and heat in firm arms?
to be kissed tenderly
to tease and be teased
to lean on a shoulder
to kiss their hand in their vulnerable moments
to have late night conversations
to share each others music and sign aloud to misheard lyrics
to hold their hand as they drive
to first share a drink of water or dessert
to create inside jokes no one else understands
to lie down together in silence and be content
to feel their chest breathe against mine
to feel tension and then give in to non-resistance
to be so close you can see the pupils of their eyes
to be lost in soft and intimate moments
to find it
