Depression can be hard,
It can make you feel like you are always on guard.
Depression can make you feel sad,
It can also make you feel mad.
Although some say it is only sadness,
But it is a mental illness.
It can make you feel more,
Depression can make you feel sore.
Not just sad but many other things,
Making your heart feel like it stings.
Living with depression,
Can leave no confession.
Depression is rough,
It never seems to have enough.
Enough of the pain,
It will wrap you in a chain.
Making you hurt,
And making you feel like dirt.
But life must go on,
So now the pain must be gone.
