What If?

A Poem

What If?

I told you that the way I feel about you that mere words can never say,

That my love for you will grow stronger through each passing day.

What If?

I got down on my knees and ask you to marry me,

For the thought is overwhelming to try and figure out just what your answer will be.

What If?

Our meeting wasn't by any chance,

All that I know is that our life together would be full of romance.

What If?

I told you that what I feel for you my heart won't let me hide,

Because what I truly want is to be right there by your side.

For we both understand what it will take to build a strong relationship,

So, there is no reason for any one of us to trip!

All I want is to enjoy this ride,

And I can promise you that I will be there forever by your side.
