What Color

Fills This House

What color fills this house

Fills this room, this world

From blue dome to green life

Many a hue this world holds

Now into the grand aether so vast

Limitlessness expanded as an eternal mast

As in the eye, so in the heavens

Color clusters furnish the black

Back in the atmosphere yet again

Blessed for choice

The inner voice pleads for guidance

Upon the canvas: What color ought I choose?

“Ought” has brought me thus far

“Should” would have me finish the task

“Can” is able to do the job

Do only that which shall last
