Don't wander too far...

Don’t wander too far, you will forget who you are.

No matter which way you travel, there is no destination; an abyss of animosity. Creatures linger but they never leave. If you stay long enough, you will meet them. Slowly, they will divulge.

Stay cautious, they are very convincing. They are not who you think they are. Some may seem happy, some solemn, some depressed, and some full of life. Their trickery is particular and invasive. Only one fact remains, their intentions are all the same.

Remorse has no definition, you must bury your sins or they will feed off them. Chaos is an understatement and psychological sabotage is considered a sport. The one who destroys the most always seems to win. They try their hardest and prevail most of the time. Their failure is limited and results in a cloud of uncertainty, one they have created for you. They despise euphoria, it contradicts their existence.

They will do anything to keep their home here, cozy in my despair. Why would they want to leave? I give them everything they have always wanted, everything they can not have; life. But yet I let them stay, I let them use me... They are my friends. Loyal to their host, they will never leave like the rest, so I let them stay. One day this place will be the end of me, just not today. Welcome Home.
