Weather (or Not)

Haikus About the Weather (Or Lack of It)

LA in winter

Is like LA in summer

But you might need socks

I remember rain

I hope to see it again

I won't hold my breath

Palm trees in the wind

Don't seem to move very much

Just a gentle sway

It's nice, go outside

"It will be nice tomorrow"

Okay, don't bother

I miss wearing coats

And hats, and scarves, and layers

But I can't complain

Ninety in the shade

Cold in the supermaket

Best take a sweater

Nice day for a walk

But nobody walks, they hike

They drive and then hike

Whither the weather?

Day after day is the same

And it is perfect
