We the People?

Wake Up

Corruption.

Money.

Greed.

Corporates.

Hate.

War.

Is this the new norm? Is our country really that torn?

Fear.

Can't say what you want without offending anyone, when you're not really trying to diss anyone.

People die everyday, they die for you, they die for me. Yet you stand on the Nation's flag on which they're defending and you call it protest?!

Stop, listen to me.

Do you see the problem here? Do you see other countries desecrating their own Nation's flag in protests?

You look like a fool. Don't be the media's tool. We're all in this together. White, black, brown, yellow, I don't care if you're purple.

We all bleed red. Don't let the government get us all dead. Use your brains, like your momma taught you how to potty-train.

Do your research, I promise you I'm not going berserk.

Big money.

Filthy water.

Drought.

Look at us now, we're damned.

Severity.

The poor stay poor, and the rich stay rich.

The leaders don't care, they have stacks of bills, while we struggle to pay our bills.

Constantly watching. Nowhere is safe.

Turn off your phones for a day, and watch the stress dissipate.

Floods.

Hurricanes.

The weather is going insane.

Biblical, physical.

You can't change my mind.

History repeats itself, indigenous people fighting for their lands.

Corporations scream: "Save the Pipeline! We don't care about the people!"

But doesn't the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States say, "We the People"?

Our rights, stripped one by one, and you?

What're you going to do about it? Stick your head in your phone and keep scrolling,

Ignore it,

Let the government keep playing us,

they're not protecting us.

Wake up,

and do it soon.
