It is much harder as an adult to unlearn the lies you’ve been taught your entire life, than to learn the truth as a child.
Naive out the womb, we seek only guidance and love.
A delicate sponge soaking up the drops of life we are submerged in everyday.
Dear child do not sink, do not drown in your sorrows.
Straighten your back, take a deep breath and face the world with your floating grace.
Pace your strokes against the waves of life and you shall stand firmly onshore.
