Like layered veils warmly falling away
Clearing the images of the mind
A reach out into the endless blue
To seize a passion under a deep sleep
Ever rolling and shifting in swirling
Crystal in the sun, ripples
Like the heart thumping with desire
The rush and then retraction
A hot breath against the swelling tide
Flowing beneath the skin and behind teeth,
A serenity with no name,
A billowing mist inside
Soothing the spirit and speaking to the heart,
Surging far off in memory one moment
Then quivering up to the beach the next
Inhaling the tenderness and exhaling the constancy
Gentle strokes back and forth on the soul
Seamless and in perfect harmony.
