Please wave,
push me hard,
wash the strain away
drain distrust on my way
Put the struggle down,
make it fade
mold it with another clay
And leave it plain and still,
virgin again to dry
nothing to dismay
Please ocean breeze
fill my lungs
with your forceful peace
Make the spine shiver,
the blood boil
and let the flesh squeeze
I want to release
Like octopus in a dark gorge,
a flower in the sun, a baby conceived in peace
All of this is sprouting from my chest
I already feel
its powerful grace and persistent quest
It will push me to the other side
while I stay still,
nothing to fight, nothing to hide,
just opening my chest wide
