Was She Not Enough?

For you, she would climb the tallest mountain,

Your wish was her command.

Her love for you was unmatched.

And by your side she always stood.

To your plethora of desires, she had but one.

And you failed her.

Was she not pretty enough?

Maybe she wasn’t as smart.

Maybe, she didn’t do her part.

Maybe, it was you.

Your desire to achieve new pleasures was bigger than your desire to keep close the one who loved you the most.

But that was a mistake.

Those short lived moments of ecstasy, will never compare to the never-ending mental torture you now have to face.

She's moved on, yet you are alone.
