Warm Love

The intricacies of love

I would scale the Himalayas

To be by your side

Walk the furthest stretches

Honey I don’t mind

Every day I see you

I will feel a glow

A warmth inside my chest

I will call you home

When you run away from me

I’ll run a little faster

And faster will be

To make it last, I

Don’t know where you are

Or what you see

But when the time comes

Just let it be

There’ll always be a love

From me to you

And you to me

A warming hugh

When I run away from you

You will run a little faster

And faster will be

To make it last, I

Know that time

Will feel so slow

Giving us a chance

To heal and grow

When finally I find you

A month, a week, a year,

So will die

This burning fear

About the Creator

Keane Neal-Riquier

Writing and storytelling have been a passion of mine ever since I was young. I look to dig deep into what it means to be human, and this is what you will find at the very core of my writing.
