Walking into the Day

A Poem

I feel as high as a kite in the month of July,

My heart soars in my chest ready to fly,

The beast of love and that of true bliss,

Was held back, tied down and even not missed,

This is my true passion, my one true gift,

To give my words the freedom to drift,

Spread wings and glide out for the world to see,

The trueness and openness of what's inside me,

I held back once, twice and maybe some more,

But i dislike that feeling and tastes of gore,

Whether i am liked, loved or even considered,

The only thing that matters is that i delivered,

These words i hold inside my head,

Will not rest, lay down or go to bed,

They must be free to be shared all around,

The skies the limit, there is no end to be found,

My feelings seem key to my song of words,

The emotions are wild like those beautiful birds,

There is a love in my life you would see on totems,

In my heart is the growth of the birth of my poems,

I love to love with words, rhymes and reason,

I can sing these no matter which one of the seasons,

I hope you enjoy my evening or morning spread,

It clears the way and shares what's in my head,

Happy to be alive is my new holiday or sport,

I would even sit, smile and listen to your retort,

To be alone in my world is really my strength,

For which, God gives me these words in great length,

I love my life with all the curves and adventures,

With a thirst never ending always to quench her,

I hope you enjoy this type of a spinning tale,

For there will always be more on the winding trial.
