Walk Away

Help me now.

We started long ago

On a trip so far away

I was married though

You're the kind of love I would sit and pray

It was more than a fantasy

It was real and oh so great

But you have changed and I can’t pretend

If your love is not worth the wait a hey hey hate

So help me now I’m falling fast into the ground on this bed we made

And you say there’s no feeling of love

It’s just the need to lay

But I can’t forget that night with your slap in my face

But all I’m gonna do

Is turn and walk away

You say I’ve been cheated

You even think that I’ve been had

But if there were more like me

This place wouldn’t be so bad

I know I’ve done all the crying

Every day, I feel so sad

You’re the only one I love

And I just stay and take your crap

But help me now I’m falling fast into the ground on this bed we made

And you say there’s no feeling of love

It’s just a need to lay

So I won’t forget that night

Such a slap in my face

Now all I’m trying to do is turn and walk away

If it’s not too late
