WAKING NIGHTMARE:
Waking from the nightmare
Down to one knee
a bloody knight
darkened blight
far as he can see
of sundered sword
and shattered helm
bleeding into his eyes
he charges forth
prepared
to leave this realm
with final breath
he takes knife thrust
deep into his heart
a smile upon his lips
as he doth depart
a final
whispered warning
is all he leaves behind
beware the beast
my brother
for on this world
he shall feast
DECAYING KEEP:
switch and slash
pray thy blade stay true
crossed thine wrists
torn 'crossed throat
a river of blood
'round me like a moat
my body, a decrepit decay
a keep where
none dare sleep
and empty heart
sits as vacant throne
a hallow beat
a dreadful sound
in it I will surely drown
