Vul-ner-able

The Place Between Fear and Freedom

the key is in the name

but locks confound it anyway

it's easier to look able

than admit the feeble truth

everyone of us can feel it

the tug of weakness pulling

give in to yours and let it stick

magnetized, exposed and frozen

allow yourself to just connect

repel those false illusions

confer with one another

it isn't all that easy now

But once the filter of success

the glamour melts away

the makeup sheds in tears

The mask is stripped bare

That is when the truth comes out

When the heart of the matter awakes

The confessional, the confidante unite

when you realize you're the same
