A Poem

Who are you? What is this?

True love's purest form? Please prove it

With kiss.

An ego comprised of dynamite but I will never blow your

Cover,

You're far from being near, it feels better when you

Hover.

If it's only raining dogs, why ask why we chase

Cats,

Expected to turn our backs but preferably we face

Facts.

The first to push your buttons, could I pull the last

Zipper?

Your soul seems to fit perfectly into that glass

Slipper.

The roses appear happy, why are the violets so

Blue,

Undeniably old fashioned, this day is so

New.

Why do we only offer the beds that we turn

Down?

As we "Imagine Dragons" are responsible for the bridges we

Burn down.

Selfish salesman, so how does one deal?

If the ball belongs in the peoples court, how do we

Appeal?

Allow all negativity to sore underneath our pilot

Hearts,

Avoiding the publics' attempts to piece together our private

Parts.

The camel's back is broken, we lost sight of the last

Straw,

Now I can see what you are saying, right through your glass

Jaw.
