Void

A Poem

A far off memory inside a shattered dream speaks to me

Questioning what is real and what is not

A memory of voids merging, darkness expanding Across a pale horizon

Swelling and consuming endlessly and eternally

The shattered dream of a far off memory tells me to run

I don’t know exactly what it is that I’m running from

But the G-Force is overwhelming, as is the looming sensation of bodies colliding within traps of metal

The presence of a mysterious beast seems all too familiar

I’m running from hands that were once filled with love

A far off memory inside a shattered dream screams with no end

The dream of a distant past, a treacherous chain of events that seems to be getting closer

History always repeats itself

Solace is a realm unknown

Safety doesn’t exist
