A spark of light
Can light a fire
That spark alone
Creating a heart’s desire
As I lie awake on this night
The moon shining
Only half its light
The other half, tis in the shadow
A reflection of life
Fulfilled and shallow
So many thoughts come into my mind
I go into my heart
Oh boy, what I find
My first thought is just below
It begins a never-ending flow...
One and one, they make three
A combination of you and me
The third is a energy all by itself
A creation of course
That can be felt
This shape in the middle
As mentioned above
A fabric, a stain, a creation of love
Once it is formed
What does it become?
The answer to this can not be undone
For in this poem
I would like you to know
That in this life
I have let you go
This does not mean
I do not care
For what I feel
Is somewhat rare
The circle of love
Has a life of its own
I carry it around
Like a magic stone
The magic stone
I hold in my sight
I will share it someday
With the one who is right
You gifted me
With this precious gem
I want to thank you
Over and over again
When we met
I felt such joy
This followed with pain
As everything stayed the same
The bliss of the joy
The hurt of the pain
The balance of both
Delivering my growth
As I grow
And others see
I offer my lessons
As a code and a key
With this key
You can do as you will
The choice is yours
Experience, or stand still
You gotta love
How it all works
Creation, reflection
With all of its perks
I feel sometimes
Inside my being
Connection, the source
And all that it means
For you an I
Are just little dots
In a much bigger picture
With our own little lots
The source that I see
Is in you and me
It's in everything
It's how it must be
The spark of light
I mentioned at the start
Is where this begun
Like beautiful art
The experience we had
Both happy and sad
Returned to this light
And made it more bright
A spark of light
Can light a fire
That spark alone
Creating a heart's desire
About the Creator
Molly Roche
I am a curious philosopher.
A teacher at heart.
A learner of life.
Adding experiences to my cart.
We are all connected.
This, I am sure.
From my perspective
My reality pours.
