Planet Earth

Eating away at the remains of a planet that's being drained

We never refrain from creating carbon emissions

That slowly drain the life force from planet earth

I heard that in 40 years my grandchildren won't have enough oxygen to breathe

Because of me and 400 billion other people who are carrying our future seeds inside

There's no way that all 800 billion of them can survive on this planet

The time to panic is now not in 10 Years

When we really start to see the affect of what it is we're doing here

Our carbon footprint will be so severe that all traces of the human race will be wiped from the face of this Earth

We'll be a species that is so unheard of

A species so brilliant it brought about its own demise

A species that loves, cries, and finds ways to cope with the pain we feel on the inside

But we've become obsessed

There's this kindve social unrest roaming through the people

Its like we buy things when we're really purchasing the temporary happiness it brings us

Only to find that our spending becomes a repetitive cycle because there's no value that can be placed on items that are just things
