When you speak your voice resonates within, though it only touches me.

When your gaze falls on my face my cheeks burn, though only mine turn red.

When I close my eyes I see your face, though when you dream it's not me you see.

When you're near my heartbeat quickens, though yours remains steady.

When you smile at me my eyes begin to shine, though yours seem to not change.

When I see your arms, into them I want to run, though you won't even be ready.

When you caress my hair my soul feels so free, though yours stays locked in its cage.
