Bad timing
It’s bad timing roles out of my lips and I can see the frustration on yours
Its dignified, your anger and hurtful words hold justification
Like a perfect storm that I have single handedly created, conducted and dropped in your lap
Call it what you may, guilt, lying, cheating
You deserved the raw truth, as imperfect as it exists
You deserve unbroken porcelain, pure and true
I am past broken
Unidentifiable
Baggy eyes
Unheard cries
Love is patient
Love is kind
Love will eat you alive
Pick up pieces
Or sweep them into the dark corner of your mind
A debt, un-repayable
Interest eats layers of who I am
Piece by piece
I now understand the cost of transparency
Slowly, indefinitely the seed begins to root deep in my abdomen
The leaves licking my ribs
The blossoms whispering
The lies I once knew that are now truth
Undeserving of love
Unqualified human
Unworthy of space
A pivotal point
A decision to make
How long before I completely break?
