Unearth Me

A Poem

Brown sinews

with subtle ways--

a silent pull

and a guarded ease.

Your eyes betray your confidence.

Not shy, but close-lipped,

you

spark a rich glow

in any room you walk into.

I flutter lashes

and butterflies,

my shyness present, but offset

by the glue

holding my eyes on yours.

Do the dance with me, then--

let's entangle limbs and souls,

just for a night,

and uncover

our subtleties.

Lead me

fill me

unearth me.

I want your ways

your sinews

and all your being

to envelop me.

This poem was written about a brief romance between earth signs...which I didn't realize at the time I wrote it. But it sure fits, doesn't it? And boy did that guy break up with me in the most Capricorn way...but that's another story
