Unbridled Need

Abstract intimacy

Climbing upon this mocha colored African stallion

my breath hitches with an unbridled need

I ease down on the firm saddle with nervous anticipation

Securing my thighs around his muscular sides

I take off riding like my life depended on this long-awaited journey

His hooves dig deep into the flesh of Mother Earth

He bucks just slightly to keep me on course

as I fumble to get my sense of direction

My hearing ceases and my lungs tighten with exhilaration

My heart beats out of my chest as I ride harder and harder

Sprinting for that golden sunset waiting patiently for me

just beyond the shaded mountains in the distance

Reaching the peak, an inner tension cord I am unaware of, breaks

I sway on the edge of euphoria

as I push onward to the euphoric break again and again

I want when satisfaction has taken its place at the crossroad

where my overflowing womanhood cries rivers of rapture

I desperately desire to ride again as exhaustion envelops me…
