Two Paths

Where do they lead?...

I stood in the road only to see two paths in front of me. Steady I stood deeply I thought, which path would be good.

Two paths

Two adventures

Two different journeys

The same ending

Hurry I must and choose a way for the sun is setting and night draws near. My decision is clear but I stand unsure, I look back at how I got here now I seem reassured

Two paths

Two adventures

Two different journeys

The same ending

The left leads home a straight gravel path it seems, one or two hills then I'll be home free no twists no turns this path seems to me the right choice but yet I hear a still small voice

Two paths

Two adventures

Two different journeys

The same ending

The right leads me home but twist and turns I will take with more than two hills I will surely face. This path is smooth under my feet adversity I will face but I'll be well rested for the fights I must face.

You see when I look back I see all my victories of battles I've faced and won, I hear a still small voice guiding me home a companion it's been, a friend it's become

Two paths Two adventures Two different journeys

The same ending
