Two Little Hands

Two Little Hands

Two little hands grasped together,

Never let go,

Promised to be friends forever,

Protect each other, play and fight,

But that's okay,

We will still be friends by the end of the night,

We step out of our bubble,

And I am so ashamed,

What's happened to society?

In my eyes we are all the same,

Two little hands grasped together,

Two different colors, so beautiful together,

Society can't take that from me, not ever,

Where is the peace?

Where is the love?

Don't we all shed the same blood?

Don't we all go to the same place up above?

Who decided this? May I ask?

Don't we all burn down to the same Ash?

Why are we surrounded by so much hate?

Look at yourself, feel your heart,

I'm not making this my fate,

It's sad you didn't learn this from the start,

Two little hands grasped together,

One friendship, meant to last forever
