Twilight of Autumn

A Poem

On this blissful day

Heaven descends a tear of paradise

And a waterfall gently cascades

Its rippling chatter whispers its name to me

A light gale passes through

Like the saffron leaves hanging in the twilight of autumn

I stand composed

The fresh morning dew rises

Its scent can cleanse a weary heart

The October’s sun drenches down on me

Its warmth fountains my soul

Bathing in the sun beams

I close my eyes and my thoughts lay to rest

With my hands pressed against the rock’s surface,

I feel the heartbeat of the boulder

The trees that surround,

With each immense inhalation

They enrich my entity as I absorb theirs

From the distant backdrop

I could only hear the singing mantras from the birds

And within the twilight of autumn

Tranquility finds its comfort

As I reside within this palace of silence
