Truth

The Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth

You did it.

You know you did but the truth cannot fall from your lips.

You hide behind your God and the veil of fake integrity you pull around you,

But I know. I know the truth.

You hurt her, deceived her, broke that trust.

You thought her silence could be bought, frightened into her with dark, harsh words,

But it couldn't. She spoke out. You did it.

They say the truth will out and I will wait.

I will wait forever if I need to set the truth free,

Free and loud for the world to hear, hear what you did.

Your veil will fall, your mask will slip,

The sun will rise on a day of relief.

Relief that justice is done and truth is power,

More powerful than your lies and deceit.
