A true friend lives by this creed
We fight for each other

Text me whenever your day at work is bad
Vent to me all the anger you have built up inside
Come visit when you need some time away
I will be here for you like you have been there for me
I will never stray away from you
We will always be friends
I look forward to seeing you succeed in everything you want to do
I know you want the same for me
That is what true friends do
We strive for the best and want the same for our friends
We laugh, cry, talk, and even share secrets
We have a special bond, we are like sisters.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
