A bird without wings...
Wanting to soar through the sky
Aiming for the moon
Only to get shot down
A bird without wings,
That's what I am
Having my freedom plucked from my hands
As if I’m stuck in a cage
Entering my life you've taken my joy
Leaving me to suffocate
Gasping for air
Only to have me walk in circles
Just like a bird without wings
There are limited places to go
Suffocation takes over
For I know I am trapped
Trying helplessly to be free
Taken me away from my home
Just like a bird without wings…
