Broken Love

I lay here and wonder.

Restlessly thinking of us,

not knowing what's to come.

First, it was false thoughts.

Then, it was false assumptions.

It then became hallucinations of lies.

All because of a crystal;

one that you allowed to manipulate

the true love we once had.

We once had a good thing.

What truly happen?

I'm always to blame.

Compared to you, my routines have barely changed.

Yours have turned to chaos over night.

It all started with you staying up late,

to now I sleep alone.

I only took over your side,

so I could sense your touch.

We argue over the littlest things.

You getting a job seems to be the most sensitive.

But here I lay wondering what I did wrong.

I've never cheated.

I may have lied a few little white lies.

I just wanted a little peace to myself.

Oh, how I know your insecurities.

For they always lead to multiple questions.

Now I pray for your return.

Hoping that you truly see all that's been done.

Not through those dilated eyes, but through the sober ones.

Hopefully one day you'll feel the remorse.

May you realize that everything you visioned was only mere delusional upper cuts towards your own wrongful doings.

Hopefully, then the realization of what you have lost sets in.

All because you allowed a small crystal to take over.

All because you thought your life was so harsh.

Now I wonder, will you ever regret letting go of this once happy home?
