Too Young

Poem

Buzzed,

Flying High

Colors floating by.

Yelling in the form of song.

Sharp pain.

Angry red and blue

Lights screaming in my head.

Maybe, I shouldn't have...

Sobbing

Hey! Cant you hear me yell?

Cracking glass,

Fallen all around.

Static buzzing,

Police radios repoting a scene.

Ambulance flying...

Mom... Stop crying...

I was just flying...

Buzzing like a bee...

Wait... What have I done?

This just can't be.

Crunch of metal,

Baby's wailing cry...

Or is that coming from me?

Single moment of clarity.

"Reporting live from the scene,

2 Dead and one injured.

When driver, intoxicated, hits another

Car head on."
